The smooth operation of the variable speed gearbox of a wind turbine also depends on the optimum oil temperature. For monitoring the temperature of the gear oil, we recommend JUMO screw-in RTD temperature probes with plug connector or spring-loaded fitting and the JUMO bimetal temperature switch.
